For the people of Indonesia, in August is a special month of all months of the year. This month we will feel the atmosphere that is different from other months. We show a sense of nationalism and love of country Indonesia. Because August is the month for the Indonesian nation's most historic struggle of the people of Indonesia who fight for the independence of Indonesia.
Many dates important of historic in August. Like the 14th of August, that date is the anniversary of Boy Scout movement in Indonesia. Later on 17 August that will never be forgotten by the people of Indonesia. A very historic date is definitely in Indonesia commemorated by all people everywhere. Because date is the day of independence of Indonesia from the colonizers. Characterized by a recited text of the proclamation by the first Indonesian president is Mr. Ir. Sukarno.
August in the year 2011 is also very special for Muslims, especially in Indonesia. Because not only to celebrate important days on historic dates, but also because it coincides with the holy month of Ramadan which is celebrated by all Muslims in the world by fasting the whole month. August 17, 2011 is also special because it coincides with the 17th of Ramadan. For Muslims so they not only celebrate Indonesia's independence, but also celebrate the anniversary Nuzulul Qur’an, or the first day of the holy book Al-Qur’an were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
